Audacity

This is the task you have to carry out after finishing all the practices:

You must record a story in your voice. The news should last at least 10 seconds, and must include a greeting, the news itself and a farewell. In addition, there will be a music entry (with cross fade in effect), background music while the news is narrated and a music output (with cross fade out effect). You should apply 3 effects to the voice while narrating the story. You must save your work as MP3 and post it on your blog.

Audacity is a free audio editor and recorder. You can download this program in http://audacity.es/

To save your work as a mp3 file you need to download a especial file that allows some programs to encode mp3 files: the LAME library. You can go to http://lame.buanzo.org/ and download that file. Then, the first time you try to save your work as a mp3 file, Audacity will ask you where you have stored the file LAME. Tell the program where this file is (probably in the folder downloads) and install it. Next time you want to save your sound as a mp3 file, you will be able to do it directly.
